Work in a proactive manner by setting the priorities of HSE first Participate in pre-inspections meetings and all other related to QC and fabrication meetings when required. Preform continuous quality surveillance and inspections, to verify and confirm that safety, quality, and quantity of the work, is in line with the contract specifications, design drawings and procedures. Responsible for inspection of all welding activities, material inspection, performance of NDT both onsite and offsite (As required) Responsible for visual tests of welds, fit-up alignment inspection and temporary attachments removal practice. Ensure that fabrication procedures are followed up on site. Responsible in ensuring that subcontractor is performing the work and construction activates according to proper drawings with reference to the standards in the contract. Follow up of tracking system to count all welds, weld defect repairs and welder performance in cooperation with Sub-Contractor. Be able to produce inspection QC reports as required. Ensure that equipment in production is maintained and calibrated as per requirements in reference standards. Monitor that all fabrication in compliance to statutory regulations defined in the contract and DNVGL-OS-C401. Identification and raising of non-conformance reports if observed on site Qualifications Required Welding inspector C.S.W.I.P 3.1 or IWI-S Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Senior Welding inspector on offshore constructions / jackets. (Experience with offshore jackets is an advantage.) NDT experience / knowledge (certification not required) Proficient in Microsoft Office/Teams Fluent in English (candidates that can also speak Spanish will be preferred) Proficient in Microsoft Office/Teams Senior Welding inspector C.S.W.I.P 3.1 or IWI-S Preferable local personell from Cadiz Bay if possible Duration 01.09.2023-01.11.2024 Location Bay of Cadiz, Puerto Real - Spain
