Senior project manager The candidate would support DEIMOS in several projects regarding management of project, contact with customer, preparation of bids, Currently we have several R&D projects for the European Commission and ESA to provide cutting edge technologies for Earth Observation, satcom and science satellites. Main Duties The person in charge of this position would support DEIMOS in DRACO and CASSINI projects, GNC projects as well as proposals such as ATLANTIC CONSTELATION, ESA and European Commission projects, which will lead to increase the number of projects. Education Aerospace Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Computer Science Engineer, Telecommunications Engineer, Business Administration, Translation and Interpreting Professional Experience Minimum 5 years in Project Management (preferably in Space industry or high availability environments) and/or International Commerce environments Technical Requirements Candidate should have some, but not all, of the skills below: · Experience managing projects (time and resources management, project planning, risk mitigation, …) involving customers at different levels · Knowledge of financial management, technology management and internal controls · Experience dealing with customers and providers · Used to multicultural teams and international environments · Commercial approach · Experience in project planning tools · Experienced user in Excel and other MS Office tools · Experience preparing and presenting reports at different levels Any of the following skills are desirable: · PMP certification · Knowledge of the space sector or other complex engineering environments · Technical writing, including user-facing documentation · Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with customers as well as with team members in remote locations Language Skills English (B2 level as minimum) Personal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skill to deal with customers and providers all around the world Leadership to motivate stakeholders and team members Good problem solving and analytical skills Able to work independently and on multiple tasks at the same time Collaborative, trustworthy, open-minded, proactive, original, inquisitive person A few benefits you will get if you come to work with us: Innovative and leading-edge technological projects.
