Mode Search is proud to be partnered with an elegant and contemporary fashion and accessories brand in their search for a Senior Operations Manager. This is an on site position based in Ubrique, Andalusia, Spain. This brand's elegant and understated pieces are crafted from the finest quality Spanish leather. Due to recent investment, the brand is going through an exciting expansion plan across retail, wholesale and digital and are hiring for a number of newly created positions. The successful applicant will be expected to lead the brand's Operations team. Responsibilities will include overseeing the day-to-day of the Spanish operations, including managing a team of 3 direct reports and taking ownership of the receipt and allocation of raw materials, quality inspections at the manufacturing workshops, picking and packing, and customisation of wholesale and marketplace orders. Experience in working with handmade leather goods is essential. Responsibilities Work closely with the Head Office team, creating accurate reports for Finance, Product, Wholesale and Marketplace Teams on a weekly basis. Maintain a flexible and dynamic supply chain in Spain and beyond to deliver on quality, price, and lead times. Lead the team In Spain, providing support, training, and guidance. Ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing necessary changes. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring all targets are met or exceeded. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and partners. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. Develop and maintain inventory management systems to ensure accurate stock levels are maintained. Requirements Fluent in English and Spanish. Proven experience in a senior operations management role, with experience in luxury fashion is essential. Experience in working with handmade leather goods (essential.) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in using data to inform decisions.
