The role can be strongbased in Spain, the UK, France, Germany, or the Netherlands /strong, supporting multiple European markets and working closely with international stakeholders. /ppbr/ppstrongRole Purpose /strong /ppbr/ppThe Senior Legal Counsel sees legal as a business enabler and will act as a strategic partner to senior leadership and to Commercial and Business Development teams. /ppbr/ppThis is a senior, high-impact role with strong exposure to the business and significant autonomy, focused on the negotiation, drafting and management of complex pharma agreements, with a particular emphasis on licensing-related work and international deals. /ppbr/ppstrongKey Responsibilities /strong /ppbr/ppstrong1. Strategic Legal Advice /strong /ppbr/pulliProvide senior, pragmatic and business-oriented legal advice across key functions (Business Development, Commercial, Finance, Operations, Procurement, HR). /liliIdentify, assess and mitigate legal risks in strategic initiatives, proposing practical solutions aligned with growth objectives. /liliAct as a trusted internal legal reference, ensuring preventive, value-adding support to the business. /li /ulpbr/ppstrong2. Complex Contracting Licensing (core of the role) /strong /ppbr/pulliLead the drafting, review and negotiation of complex agreements, both domestic and international, across the scope/markets supported. /liliDrive pharma licensing work, with proven hands-on experience negotiating agreements such as: /liliLicense Supply Agreements /liliTechnology Transfer Agreements /liliContract Manufacturing / CMO Agreements /liliDistribution Agreements /liliSupply / Sub-distribution (as applicable) and related agreements /liliAdvise on a broader set of agreements including collaboration, supply, services, confidentiality and other strategic third-party contracts. /liliEnsure consistency with Groupstrong legal standards, templates, policies and governance requirements. /strong /li /ulpbr/ppstrong3. Business Development Operations Support /strong /ppbr/pulliProvide legal support to growth initiatives, strategic alliances and new business opportunities. /liliPartner closely with Business Development teams during deal assessment, negotiation and closing phases. /liliContribute actively to strategic decision-making by providing legal insight and risk mitigation recommendations. /li /ulpbr/ppstrongRequirements /strong /ppbr/pulliLaw degree (LL.B. / equivalent). /lilistrongMinimum 8 years’ /strong relevant legal experience, ideally combining private practice and in-house exposure within strongpharma / healthcare / life sciences /strong (or a law firm with strong pharma client exposure). /liliStrong strongLicensing Lawyer /strong background with solid track record negotiating complex pharma agreements (License Supply, Tech Transfer, CMO, Distribution, Supply and related contracts). /liliSound commercial and contract law knowledge with a clear business mindset. /liliExperience working with senior stakeholders (Leadership, Business Development, Finance, international teams). /lilistrongStrong plus: /strong experience negotiating and managing partners in strongIndia and/or China /strong. /lilistrongValued: /strong experience supporting strongprocurement /strong contracting and managing strongdisputes/claims /strong (pre-litigation/litigation support). /liliHigh level of English (international environment). /li /ul
