We are looking for an Experienced / Senior Accountant to join our dynamic Adalvo team. This position offers an opportunity to well-suited candidates to join a growing, fast paced energetic environment and culture.
This is a key position that plays a vital role in ensuring the financial success of a company's operations. In this role, the experienced / Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the financial aspects or the daily accounting activities of the company, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, revenue and COGS recognition, as well as close communication with different functions within the organization to ensure timely and correct financial reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary responsibilities of this role include the following:
- Maintaining the recording of financial transactions in SAP
- Ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded in the relevant accounting systems and reconciled with relevant trackers and records
- Maintaining financial controls related to the recording and reconciliation of financial transactions to mitigate risk and ensure financial integrity.
- Collaborating with responsible people from other functions and accounting teams to identify and resolve any discrepancies in financial records.
- Providing financial analysis and insights to support decision-making process
- Maintaining a strong understanding of relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Identifying areas for process improvement related to financial processes and controls
- Developing and implementing process improvements to optimize financial processes and controls
- Participating in testing and implementation of new technical solutions implemented by the company
- Coordinating with external auditors to provide necessary information and support during the audit process, including providing access to financial records and answering questions
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Addressing any findings or recommendations from the audit related to financial processes and controls and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Providing insights and recommendations to senior management based on the findings and recommendations from the audit process.
- Follow relevant GDP &GMP required related to distribution and importation activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Qualified accountant ACCA, CPA
- Minimum 3 years in a Finance position
- Fully conversant and up to date with IFRS reporting standards and requirements
- Experience of working with global multi-national companies
- Experience with SAP
- Competent on Excel
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills
- Able to challenge the status quo and drive through changes
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Diligent with strong attention to detail
- Sound decision-making skills
