This position reports to R&D Product Manager Your responsibilities Demonstrates solid competence in technologies, tools, and methods in own specialist area through solving complex industrial problems. Maintains rec-ognized expertise in specific area by externally reviewing current technolo-gies. Determines effective applications, equipment, and methods to develop, market or manufacture new products or new software to respond to cus-tomer requirements cost effectively. Contributes to development strategic technology plans and project portfolio in own organization. Performs and lead a variety of complex technology/engineering assignments, which typically require the use of advanced and innovative techniques. Demonstrates sound working knowledge of relevant processes and tools and is able to train junior team members when needed. Acts as a project leader or experienced project member. Provides consulting services to business operations and customers within own area of expertise. Represents own group/team in Engineering forums, both internal and external to ABB. Your background Bachelor in Electric, Electromechanical Engineer or related within minimum 10 year of related R&D experience. Analytical problem solving, troubleshooting skill and demonstrated ability to cultivate zero-incident safety culture. Interpersonal skills to develop teamwork with subordinates, peers, and superiors both internal and external to ABB. Analytical, statistical, reasoning skills and able to quickly analyze and conclude on complex data and risks. Knowledge in motors or transformers sector preferable as electrical design engineer. Electrical Standard knowledge required. Proven success at establishing credibility and building trust with customers within the company. Demonstrated leadership and growth potential to advanced level within the organization. Good English level written and spoken. SAP skills would be a plus.
