Mercury Systems is looking for a new talent to join its Quality team in Getafe (Spain). We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist. MISSION The candidate will support the execution of (MMSI) Mercury Mission Systems International’s Quality projects during both operational and development phases. He will actively support the Quality team while executing verifications, audits, data and tools management, and Milestones formalizations in close collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams and Quality Engineers. Your responsibilities: Perform documental audits on packages or documents delivered to Mercury Mission Systems Realize and document audits of our development activities, demonstrating compliance to defined processes and aeronautic standards Verify configuration management and release process accuracy (flow, signatories, milestones, formats…) Formalize Non-Conformities in close collaboration with our Quality engineers Manage reporting data such as Indicators, FRACAS reports… Audit manufacturing documentation and configuration against defined Engineering data Perform First Article inspection while documenting the EN-9102 form and report any deviation to the Quality Assurance Engineer Support as needed the resolution of problems identified during the audits performed Promote the Quality Management System (EN/AS9100) within the company Act as the Quality representative of Mercury Mission Systems Spanish office while promoting Quality within the organization and monitor local performance (ESD, HF, FOD, Calibration management, 5S…) Train new Spanish employees on quality tools or processes Assist the Supply Chain Quality Assurance Engineers with local (Spanish) suppliers’ issues or qualification SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Good interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while being focused on deliveries Resilient, meticulous, synthetic, and willing to perform deep verifications and audits Fluent communication and written skills in English and Spanish. French is a strong plus Knowledge of ISO 9001, 8D methodology, 5S and FAIR EN-9100 standard, RTCA, DO-160, DO-254 is a plus EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree in Material Science / Mechanical Engineering / Electronic Engineering / Aerospace Engineering Post education in quality management (or relevant experience) Why should you join us?
