Project Cost Controller

Location: Spain, Barcelona Region

Duration: 12 Month Contract (Extension likely as Project spans 3 years)

Languages: Spanish (Fluent) and English

About the Role:

An international company specializing in advanced industrial materials is seeking a Project Cost Controller for a large-scale CAPEX project in Barcelona. This role is key to managing project costs, ensuring accurate reporting, and optimizing financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain cost control processes to track expenditures and identify cost trends.
• Develop and generate accurate financial reports for project stakeholders.
• Utilize SAP to manage project cost structures and ensure data integrity.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, and variances , providing financial insights to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures .

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Cost Controller .
• Expertise in cost allocation, forecasting, and financial reporting .
• Proficiency in SAP (project cost control modules).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team .
• P6 Experience
• Fluency in Spanish and English (mandatory).
