pWe are seeking a highly skilledstrong Product Design Engineer t /strongo join our team and drive the development and launch of interior‐trim parts. /ppbr/ppstrongYour Role /strong /ppAs a Product Design Engineer you will be involved from the very start of the project through to production launch. Key responsibilities include: /ppbr/pulliReceiving the project: reviewing RFQs (Request for Quote), preparing quotations, evaluating feasibility of the mold, part and process. /liliEnsuring compatibility and fit‐up between components by working closely with Technical Office, Process Engineering, Quality and Injection departments. /liliMonitoring plant activity during launch phase, identifying and solving production issues that may arise. /liliPerforming part capability analyses, tolerance studies, and gauge design. /liliHandling process‐related production issues for interior trim parts. /liliReviewing prototypes and drawings, making modifications using CATIA V5. /liliWorking with documentation and tools such as RFQ, SCCAF, TGSS, cost‐saving initiatives, SPCs, quality standards, Teamcenter, feasibility studies, material documentation and tolerance specifications. /liliDesigning, validating feasibility, prototyping and nesting of 3D printed parts in polypropylene (PP). /li /ulpbr/ppCandidate Profile /pulliBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automotive Engineering or equivalent. /liliProven experience in the automotive industry, ideally in interior trim (seats, glove boxes, door panels, consoles, speaker trim). /liliMandatory proficiency in CATIA V5 for design of plastic components. /liliStrong understanding of moulds, injection processes, plastics materials (especially PP) and interior trim components. /liliExperience in launch support in manufacturing plants: tolerance analysis, part capability, gauge design, SPC, quality control. /liliFamiliarity with RFQs, cost‐saving measures, quality standards of the automotive industry and PLM tools such as Teamcenter. /liliAbility to work across disciplines (Technical Office, Process, Quality, Production). /liliEnglish technical level (reading/writing) is desirable. /liliHigh detail‑orientation, strong problem‐solving skills, analytical mindset, and ability to follow up on results. /li /ulpbr/ppWhat We Offer /pulliA role in a stable, high‑profile company within the automotive interior trim sector. /liliFull ownership of projects from concept to production launch. /liliA dynamic and challenging technical environment with opportunities for international collaboration. /liliCompetitive salary and benefits package, to be negotiated based on experience. /liliLocation: Valencia with occasional travel to plant or supplier sites as required. /li /ulpbr/ppstrongOCATION /strong Valencia, Spain. /ppbr/pp#ProductDesignEngineer#AutomotiveEngineering#InteriorTrim#CATIAV5#InjectionMolding#EngineeringJobs#AutomotiveCareers /ppbr/ppstrongBCNC GROUP /strong is an engineering and technology company with operations in Spain, the UK, Germany, France, and Sweden.
