How to contribute to our vision Deep knowledge of power electronics topologies and components. • Review requirements, standards, and other documentation to clarify and understand converter hardware requirements. • Converter modeling (PSIM or Matlab) with the focus on the component design • Technical specification of custom components: heatsinks (air and water-cooled), busbars, capacitors, semiconductors (IGBTs mainly), protections, AC filters, power cabling, cooling system, etc • Thermal analysis of the converter (cooling concept and thermal modeling support) • Customization analysis to local requirements and designs/adapts products and solutions accordingly. • Support double sourcing program. • Propose technical findings and developments. • Writes detailed specifications and design documents of all the converter main components. • Participates in converter validation to ensure compliance with the design requirements in cooperation with the whole converter design team. • Adheres to the quality process through the execution of test procedures. • Cooperates with other engineering teams to support product testing and certifications. • Cooperates with other teams in the company to support presales, commissioning, aftersales, etc. What you need to make a difference Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
