United Search is looking for passionate and experienced professionals in industrialisation and methods to join the Industrial, Innovation Savoir-Faire Division of Polène, a fast-growing Parisian House rooted in craftsmanship and creative elegance.Our client:Polène is a French leather goods brand founded in 2016 by three siblings, united by a love of timeless design and refined craftsmanship.Each piece is inspired by natural, sculptural forms and brought to life by artisans in Ubrique, Spain — a town known for its leatherworking heritage.Using premium leathers from certified tanneries, Polène combines tradition and modernity in every handmade creation, offering pieces that are both elegant and enduring.Mission Responsibilities:As Methods Engineer, your mission is to optimize and support the industrial performance of Polène’s leather goods collections by monitoring production efficiency, defining workshop organization, and managing processes and machinery investments. 1. Monitor and Measure the Economic Performance of Production:Oversee and track the performance and productivity of production workshops; implement visual management systems and ensure daily and weekly performance monitoring.Monitor and assess material efficiency throughout the production flow.Define performance targets and coordinate action plans to achieve expected outcomes. 2. Define the Optimal Organization of Workshops and Production Lines:Design and balance production lines by coordinating time studies and establishing standard operating ranges.Optimize intra- and inter-workshop flows by appropriately sizing intermediate inventories.Reduce lead times and work-in-progress inventory within the workshops.Redesign and manage repair flows to minimize blocked or stalled products. 3. Process Management and Machinery Investment:Monitor machine productivity and identify necessary investments.Research and implement innovations in processes, tools, and machinery.Support the setup of new workshops by defining optimal layout and flow configurations.Requirements:Engineering background with experience in an industrial and production-driven environment.Proven experience (ideally 3+ years) in industrial product development, methods, or industrialisation within a similar environment.Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.Experience in industrial methods and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies.Knowledge of leather materials and leather goods manufacturing processes would be a plus.Fluent in both Spanish and English; French is a plus.Are you ready to shape the future of refined craftsmanship?
