Work Type: Full Time Location: Capella Department: Infrastructure and Utilities Remuneration : Award Stream B, Level 8: $53.06 per hour inclusive of superannuation & allowances - 5% increase as of July 2026. Indicative salary of circa $110,000 per annum inclusive of allowances and overtime when available, depending on operational requirements. About this role Central Highlands Regional Council is currently seeking a Grader Operator to join the Emerald Maintanance Rural Crew. This role will involve plant operation and labouring duties to assist in the maintenance of road and town facilities across the Central Highlands region. You will be a valued member of a well-established team and have the opportunity to continue developing your skills within a supportive environment. If you are a skilled grader operator with experience in civil construction we want to hear from you. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in grader operation in a road maintenance environment as part of a team. Demonstrated knowledge of road maintenance processes. Current Queensland Class HR Drivers Licence. Statement of Attainment or Ticket for Grader Operations. Roller Operations statement of attainment or ticket (or ability to obtain). Construction White Card. Additional licences/tickets that are beneficial Statement of Attainment or tickets for various construction plant equipment. Heavy Combination or Multi-combination Vehicle Licence. Traffic Controller Ticket. Current First Aid or CPR Certificate.
