Job Title: Piping Engineer (CAD Design)brLocation: Madrid, SpainbrContract: 2–4 months, ASAP startbrAbout the Role:brWe are looking for x 4 experienced Piping Engineers to join a short-term project focused on updating and finalizing Piping Instrumentation Diagrams (PIDs) for a process facility. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to translate client feedback into accurate and complete engineering diagrams.brKey Responsibilities: • Review existing PIDs and update them based on client feedback and technical requirements. • Specify and validate equipment such as pumps, valves, pipes, and heat exchangers. • Ensure all changes are accurately reflected in the PID and fully compliant with process engineering standards. • Collaborate closely with the project lead and other engineers. • Conduct occasional site visits (up to 2 hours from Madrid) to verify layouts or specifications. • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout the project.brRequirements: • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Process Engineer / Piping Engineer. • Experience in distilling is preferred; oil gas, FMCG, chemical, pharmaceutical or similar industries considered. • Strong knowledge of creating and modifying PIDs. • Strong 2D CAD experience (Autocad) • Hands-on experience specifying pumps, pipes, valves, and heat exchangers. • Ability to work from the Madrid office. • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.brDesirable: • Previous experience in a fast-paced project environment with multiple PID revisions. • Experience working in small, collaborative teams.
