Generate new Packaging for product launches in response to a given brief, evaluate new suppliers, collaborate on supply and packaging options, and manage design-to-value projects and tasks that support project implementation. End-to-end packaging responsibility for each NPD, Business Continuity, and Cost Savings projects will sit with the Packaging Development Engineer /ppbr/ppstrongKey Responsibilities: /strong /pulliLead and execute strongNPD and EPD projects /strong, ensuring complete alignment with brand strategy and product relevance. /lilistrongDesign and develop packaging /strong in collaboration with Marketing, Formulation, Procurement, and Supply Chain, considering formula needs, manufacturing capabilities, lead times, MOQs, and cost optimization. /liliConduct strongpackaging investigations /strong — defining preliminary BOMs, coordinating with suppliers (via GSP), estimating costs, tooling, and trial expenses, and assessing manufacturability. /liliCollaborate with strongFormulation and Testing Labs /strong to ensure product-pack compatibility and with strongPackaging Engineering /strong to guarantee efficient line performance. /liliPartner with strongFinance and Innovation Operations /strong to track cost estimations throughout project phases, ensuring COG and GM targets are met. /liliSupport strongfactory first runs /strong when necessary to ensure successful industrialization. /liliProvide stronginnovation insights /strong to Marketing — focusing on performance, shapes, sustainability trends, and new technologies. /liliOwn and maintain all strongpackaging documentation /strong: /liliBOMs, technical specs, supplier documentation, sustainability data, and logistics information. /liliDefine quality standards for components and finished goods in collaboration with Marketing and QC. /liliSupport strongQuality teams /strong in issue resolution, applying technical acceptance criteria. /lilistrongLead Design-to-Value (DTV) projects /strong to improve cost efficiency, performance, and quality. /liliWork closely with strongProcurement /strong to identify and qualify new suppliers, implement packaging source changes, and support insourcing/outsourcing initiatives driven by cost or supply needs. /liliStay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and technologies, driving continuous improvement and sustainability in packaging development. /li /ulpbr/ppstrongREQUIREMENTS /strong /pp✓ A bachelor’s degree in Packaging engineering, Industrial engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent is required. /pp✓Basic knowledge of packaging materials and technologies /pp✓Desirable 3-5 years of experience in Packaging development with a demonstrated track record of delivering results in a complex environment, but not necessary. /pp✓Fluent Spanish and English. /pp✓Computer proficient (Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint) /p
