pCrane Worldwide Logistics is a leader in supply chain solutions with over 130 locations across 30 countries providing individual services that address our client's logistics challenges. /ppbr/ppThe Ocean Export Specialist is responsible for processing shipments and all related activities for an assigned base of accounts. Works with clients, carriers and potential clients on a daily basis. /ppbr/ppstrongEssential Job Functions: /strong /pulliPrepare documentation, dock receipts, bills of lading, export declarations. /liliFile SED’s (Shippers Export Declarations) /liliTrack and trace cargo as necessary to insure proper movement and delivery. /liliProvide accounting department with proper and correct billing information. /liliCommunicate with clients regarding disposition of Freight (i.e. tracking tracing, routing dispatching, and rate quotations). /liliCommunicate with vendors/suppliers regarding shipment dispatch, routing, pricing, and rates. /liliCommunicate correspond with other Company branches and agents for client satisfaction, and ensure excellent service execution. /liliSeek the most profitable mode of shipment, yet meet client’s requirement for the movement of freight. /liliOther duties as assigned. /li /ulpbr/ppThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. /ppbr/ppstrongPhysical Requirements: /strong /pulliPosition may require extended periods of sitting, computer use, standing and walking.
