Eaton in Bielsko-Biała, automotive manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Projects Manager to lead New Launches team.
What you’ll do:
As a Projects Manager, you will play a crucial role in planning and coordinating the introduction of new products into series production. Your responsibilities will include setting project schedules, estimating costs, and planning capital expenditures to meet our business goals and exceed customer expectations. You will also collaborate with various stakeholders both internally and externally on a regional and global scale.
- Coordinating new launches (series production) in accordance with APQP and internal guidelines;
- Coordination of activities from the plant level in cooperation with sales, customers, product engineering, SCM;
- Supervision of project cost planning, profitability, and schedules;
- Conducting effective project reviews at all levels of the organization;
- Cost estimations and plant representation at the earliest stages of new launches planning;
- Management and maintenance tools database- both owned by the customer (Customer Paid Tooling) and Eaton tools;
- Development of the subordinate team.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in the area of project management in the automotive industry (min. 5 years of experience);
- Min. 3 years of experience in a managerial position;
- Higher Education.
Skills:
- Technical knowledge and experience in the field of production processes and quality;
- Practical knowledge of cost calculation methods and valuation models;
- Practical knowledge of continuous improvement tools and achievements in managing change in an organization;
- Very good command of English;
- Fluent use of MS Project;
- Knowledge of English enabling free communication in a business environment;
- Knowledge of the six sigma methodology is an asset.
