Mechanical Design EngineerWe are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing startup in the semiconductor and silicon photonics industry.As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in:Developing finite element analysis (FEA) models for unit-level assembly processesConducting multi-physics simulations, including solder collapse modelingCreating automation scripts in Python to enhance modelling efficiencyKey Requirements:✔ MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field✔ 2+ years of experience in finite element analysis (FEA) techniques✔ Proficiency in analysis tools such as ANSYS and structural design tools like SolidWorks✔ Knowledge of 2D/3D packaging technologies and thermo-mechanical challenges✔ Experience applying finite element methods to microelectronics packaging and system-level computer hardwareThis role offers hybrid working, but due to the nature of the position, the successful candidate will need to commute to the office 3-4 days a week as required.
