Our client, a fast-growing multinational startup operating in the technology sector, is searching for a full-time Head of Accounting reporting to the VP of Finance. The Head of Accounting will be responsible globally for leading the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with local and international accounting standards, and efficient coordination of monthly closings, audits, and consolidated financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, audit, consolidation and ERP implementation.  Build, manage and supervise globally the accounting department in all company jurisdictions and in a consolidated basis. Lead and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings in a timely and reliable manner ensuring compliance with accounting standards.  Coordinate internal and external audits and the preparation of annual accounts. Participate in the ERP implementation strategy, aligning processes to optimize the accounting process automation. Develop accounting policies and procedures. Support financial planning and budgeting process in collaboration with the FP&A department. Support tax compliance in collaboration with the Tax department. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or relevant field.  ~15 years of experience in accounting, preferably in international and multi-entity environments, with at least 7 years in a leadership role. ~ Comprehensive knowledge of accounting standards: Spanish GAAP (PGC), IFRS and US GAAP.  ~ Experience with ERP systems and financial consolidation tools and ERP implementations. ~ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in both English (C1 minimum) and Spanish. ~ Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI. ~
