pWe are seeking a strongLine Parts Specialist Buyer /strong to join our Purchasing Department in Barcelona. /ppAs a Line Parts Specialist Buyer, you will play a key role in managing sourcing activities, ensuring the availability of line parts, and optimizing supplier performance. This is a strategic position that bridges engineering, quality, and production, supporting the successful launch and scale-up of our automotive manufacturing operations. /ppThis role requires a proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in purchasing within the automotive sector. /ppbr/ppKey Responsibilities: /ppStrategic Sourcing Supplier Management: /pulliManage supplier selection processes, from Request for Information (RFI) to Request for Quotation (RFQ) and final nomination. /liliDevelop and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring compliance, quality, and performance standards. /li /ulpCost Optimization: /pulliIdentify opportunities for total cost reduction (Total Delivered Cost), including commercial levers and process optimization (monozukuri). /liliSupport make-or-buy decisions through market analysis and cost benchmarking. /li /ulpProcess Development: /pulliSupport the design and implementation of purchasing procedures, tools, and KPIs. /liliContribute to building a robust purchasing structure adapted to a fast-growing startup environment. /li /ulpRisk Supply Chain Management: /pulliMonitor supply risks, create mitigation plans, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure continuity. /liliEnsure timely procurement of line parts according to production needs and technical specifications. /li /ulpCross-functional Collaboration: /pulliWork closely with Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Manufacturing teams to align procurement decisions with project goals. /liliSupport cross-department initiatives to improve product development and launch timing. /li /ulpbr/ppEducation: /pulliBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field. /liliHigh level of English (mandatory). /liliMBA or additional language skills (especially Chinese) are a plus. /li /ulpExperience: /pulli5+ years in purchasing roles within the automotive industry. /liliExperience in sourcing and cost management. /liliFamiliarity with startup environments and cross-functional projects is highly valued. /li /ulpbr/ppSkills Competencies /pulliStrong negotiation and communication skills. /liliAnalytical thinking with a proactive problem-solving mindset. /liliResilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, changing environment. /liliAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. /liliStrategic vision combined with hands-on execution. /li /ulpbr/ppJoining our team means becoming part of a dynamic and forward-thinking company committed to redefining sustainable mobility.
