Attention: This is a 100% remote VOLUNTEER position; we do not request or ask relocation to any of our members. Interested candidates will be expected to be available for about 5 hours per week within the time zones of GMT-2 to GMT +4.We are a multidisciplinary and intersectional organization specialized in fundraising, communication and development, social impact, and marketing. We want to have a social impact on the development of the project and on the entity with which we collaborate by providing our available services.For more information, please visit our website: www.elcami.euPosition Overview:As a Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for in-house legal matters, including drafting and reviewing agreements and documents, addressing compliance issues, and participating in negotiation discussions. In order to succeed, this candidate should feel comfortable working with in-house and outside counsels on a variety of legal matters.What you will do:You will be part of the Legal team, advising all the teams of the NGO.Your mission is to support the legal team of the NGO.Prepare/draft documentation and provide legal advice on national and international contracts and agreements.Review, draft, advise, and negotiate all types of contracts and commercial agreements with our “partners.”Analysis of the applicable regulatory framework (association law and related regulations) and provide proactive legal advice focused on the needs of the association.Pulse of the organization: Find out what can be improved in our current internal processes so that we can be more efficient as we grow.About you:You have a law degree in Spain from an accredited law school (a Master's degree in commercial law is preferred).You are fluent in English (written and spoken).You have effective verbal and written communication skills in all interactions with all the departments and all volunteers.You understand that this is a volunteer position that will require a limited number of hours each week from you: We all have jobs and studies in addition to this, but we need a minimum level of commitment and responsibility.You have an entrepreneurial-and-proactive mindset, and love to think creatively.You value honesty and transparency, as well as respectful and empathetic communication.Experience working in Startups is a plus.We offer you (please keep in mind it is a non-paid position):A proactive and entrepreneurial work environment passionate about philanthropy.A supportive and friendly team that will always have your back.The opportunity to take responsibility from day one and make a real impact.The possibility to live and work wherever you want in a fully remote setup.A flexible timetable tailored to your life. #J-18808-Ljbffr
