Would you like to be part of the project? /ppWe are currently looking for a Category Buyer responsible for executing sourcing strategie for IT Equipment Services to deliver cost savings, improve quality and risk mitigation. /ppWhat will your day to day be like? /ppCategory Management: /pulliDevelop and implement IT Services Equipment strategies for aligned with the company’s objectives. /liliIdentify trends, opportunities, and potential risks /liliMaintain an up-to-date understanding of market conditions, supply base, and emerging technologies within the categories assigned. /li /ulpSourcing and Procurement: /pulliLead end-to-end procurement processes, including tendering, negotiating, catalogues and contract management. /liliCollaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure procurement strategies meet business needs. /liliDevelop a supplier base that supports the company’s growth, quality, and innovation objectives. /liliManage supplier performance, including conducting regular reviews and addressing any issues or concerns. /li /ulpContract Management: /pulliEnsure all contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and risk management standards. /liliMonitor contract performance and compliance, managing any changes or renewals as necessary. /li /ulpCost Management: /pulliDrive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and service levels. /liliDevelop total cost of ownership (TCO) models to evaluate and optimize procurement decisions. /liliMonitor and report on cost savings achieved and projected against targets. /li /ulpStakeholder Engagement: /pulliWork closely with IT team, finance, operations, and project management teams to align procurement activities with project timelines and budget constraints. /liliProvide regular updates and reports to senior management on procurement activities, category strategies, and market developments. /li /ulpRisk Management: /pulliIdentify and mitigate risks, including supply chain disruptions, financial instability, and compliance issues. /liliDevelop contingency plans and ensure supply continuity for critical projects. /li /ulpContinuous Improvement: /pulliImplement best practices in procurement processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of the procurement function. /liliKeep abreast of industry best practices and innovations in IT procurement /liliSupport the standardization of procurement processes and cataloguing. He or She leads the creation and usage of the catalogues for the categories for which he/she is responsible /li /ulpRequirements: /pulliUniversity degree in Business, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience). /lili3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations preferred /liliSpecialized in procurement of Consultancy Services, experience in international environment, SAP ARIBA experience is an important plus. /liliFamiliarity with procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) /liliProficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel for data management and reporting) /liliProficiency in English, Spanish and French (nice to have), other European Language is welcome /li /ulpApplus+ is a company that offers equal opportunities.
