Job description The new position will perform the role of business analyst for several business applications being deployed in Europe. He / she will lead the implementation of small to medium IT projects and will contribute to the continuous evolution of business applications in close alignment with business key users and other IT operating units. The position will be based on Madrid. We are looking for a curious and proactive person willing to understand business processes and contribute to the adoption of IT solutions, primarily within Logistics and Operations areas but interacting with other business departments as well. Project management experience running small / medium projects would help the candidate to succeed in that role. Specifically, the company is onboarded in a digital a transformation journey which implies the replacement of legacy applications and the implementation of a wide range of modern IT solutions, so he / she will be participating in some projects aligned with this strategy. He / she will be part of the IT Logistics & Operations operating Unit in Europe reporting to the IT Logistics & Operations Applications manager Europe. Responsibilities : Interaction with business stakeholders, identifying explicit and implicit needs and collecting requirements. Understand technical options, limitations, costs and risks in order to communicate trade-offs to business partners. Functional design of processes as a base for the development of new functionalities. Responds to user requests, applications incidents and problems on a timely manner. Contribution to the resolution of issues and implementation of enhancements with the support of other members of the team and IT service providers. Leadership of small / medium projects taking responsibilities in their initiation, planning and execution. Controlling scope, timeline, budget, team and risks for each project. Job requirements Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, other related field. Project Management certification (PMP, Scrum, other) will be appreciated. Experience : Typically has 5 of more years of IT and work experience : Business analyst experience ideally in at least one of the following areas (Content Management, H&S, Field Services and / or Logistic Optimization applications) Liaising between IT department and Business. Project management Familiar with standard ERP data models and data integration patterns Languages : Fluent written and spoken Spanish. Fluent written and spoken English. Competencies : Ability to quickly learn the objectives, structures, operations and policies of new business areas. Strong problem resolution, negotiation and influencing skills. Demonstrated ability to engage both IT stuff and business partners to achieve target outcomes. Proven interpersonal skills and an ability to influence senior leaders and peers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to explain technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders. Experience creating documentation such as business cases or business requirements summaries. Proactive, adaptable and willing to learn new skills and to be onboarded in new IT solutions.
