Description At our Guadalajara site in Spain, Cummins is developing innovative Electrolyzer technologies that can generate hydrogen for various applications with zero emissions - contributing to a safe and healthy environment for future generations. We have a diverse team of engineers dedicated to the development of existing and future products for customers on a global scale. We are currently looking for a Product Manager to join our global team. The role will report to the Product Platform Leader HyLYZER-1000. This Role will focus on the product development initiative related to the HyLYZER-1000 Product. This product focused, developing leadership position applies highly specialized knowledge of engineering principles and practices to lead the creation of optimized system-level design concepts and mechanical design specifications considering application, cost, weight, performance, reliability, durability, manufacturing, assembly, and serviceability with little supervision required. This role effectively communicates the capability of a system-level design concept to meet a vast set of requirements including a holistic assessment of alternative and competitive design concepts and leads the development of system-level requirements by working effectively with other engineering and cross-functional disciplines, including those to resolve current product deficiencies. Support the development of the HyLYZER-1000 Global product to align with market plans. Ability to balance proliferation with standardization and have the trade-off discussion to drive decision making for product tailoring. Lead the product localization efforts in other Global regions like Australia, NZ, Asia Pacific. Maintaining and monitoring the gaps or limitations of a product line and develop plans to address them as part of the product road map. Working closely with other platform leaders to define processes and tools for product platform management of electrolyzers. Identify critical product uncertainties, gaps and challenges and coordinate with cross functional teams to modify and evaluate the product issues to ensure efficiency. Partnering with the functional engineer leaders in the planning, delivery and execution of engineering plans. Lead product development of complex products. Your profile College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or appropriate STEM field is required. Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making. Knowledge of MS Office tools is preferred. Ability to work with the Global team (India, China, APAC) and understand the local codes and standards. Solid knowledge of engineering fundamentals; ATEX, Functional Safety, Pressure Equipment Directive and ability to apply this knowledge to product development, challenging technical problems and technical documentation.
