Then, keep reading!Our client is the leading self-storage operator in Spain and is seeking a Head of Facilities to define and execute the department’s strategy across all sites (4 countries). The goal is to ensure optimal facility operations and continuously enhance Facility Management protocols to deliver exceptional service.Languages:Native level of SpanishProfessional level of EnglishKnowledge of French/Italian/Portuguese is a plusMain Responsibilities: Develop and manage preventive and corrective maintenance plans for facilities across 4 countries, covering roofs, electrical systems, doors, elevators, security systems, fire detection and suppression systems, etc., while streamlining supplier selection to ensure unified and optimized services in each countryLead and manage the internal FM team (5 people) while coordinating subcontracted staffDefine and implement the department’s strategy, structure, and management model while coordinating with other company departments (Operations Finance)Research and evaluate potential suppliersNegotiate and renegotiate general maintenance contracts and budgetsManage and control the annual budget (preventive, corrective, and utility costs)Plan, organize, and ensure the proper functioning of security and access systems across all facilitiesPlan and monitor energy usage at all locations Active participation in the opening of new centersPreparation of reports on budget status, supplier statistics, response time monitoring, etc., with the aim of generating internal satisfaction indicatorsBe available for 24/7 on-call supportCore Skills/Experience: A degree in a technical field (Industrial Engineering, Technical Architecture, or similar) is a plusAt least 5 years of experience in Facility Management, within an international and multi-site management companyPrior experience in team management is mandatory Proven ability in supplier relations and negotiationsAbility to travel regularly to various sites (national international) for on-site supervision and familiarity with facilitiesStrong analytical and planning skills, with a problem-solving attitudeExcellent negotiation abilitiesProactive approach with the ability to lead projects and manage teams, including subcontractors and suppliersWhat's on offer: A stable project, with a permanent contract and social benefitsFulltime/40-hour working week, with flexible hours (intensive Fridays!)Hybrid working modelHealth insuranceFlexible remuneration (restaurant ticket, transportation ticket, etc.)Exciting team-building activitiesCompany carTailored training and development programs focusing on your professional growth A company deeply committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship Our recruitment process​:Step 1: Interview with our Recruiter to get to know you better Step 2: Virtual interview with the client's Recruiting Manager Step 3: F2F interview with the Head of Real Estate Step 4: F2F Interview with the CEO
