Principal functions:

-Development of the following documents:

• Fire Protection Philosophy and F&G.
• Passive Protection Philosophy and sectorization of buildings
• Specifications for detection and alarm in buildings and F&G in Plant.
• Fire Protection Specifications in Plant and Buildings.
• Lists of Potential Fire Equipment.
• Block diagrams of the F&G system.
• Architecture of the Detection and Alarm System.
• Cause/Effect Matrix of the F&G system.
• F&G system input/output signal lists
• Fire Protection Systems P&IDs
• Fire Water Line Lists.
• Fire Water Demand Calculations
• Hydraulic calculations of firefighting systems.
• Data sheets for fire protection, detection and alarm equipment and F&G systems.
• Fire zone layouts
• Layouts of F&G equipment (in plant)
• Detection and alarm equipment layouts (in buildings)
• Layouts of Fire Protection equipment (in plant and in buildings)
• F&G Mapping Study

-Preparation of requisitions and technical tabulation of fire protection and gas detection equipment and materials.

-Design, specifications and requisition of fire protection systems in buildings.

-Technical management and follow-up of orders with vendors, integrators and subcontractors.

-Construction support.

-Review vendor documents.

-Sporadic site visits for supervising Fire Protection and F&G installations, commissioning and start up.

Requirements:

-Master / University Degree in Industrial Engineering or Chemical Engineering.

-Minimum 10 years’ experience.

-English (minimum B2 or equivalent).

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

-Management of hydraulic calculation software (PIPENET preferably).

-Experience in Offshore projects.

-Experience in projects with ADNOC, SAUDI ARAMCO or Steel Plants (Highly valued).
