You’ll play a key role in promoting our events, sharing news stories from the community, and helping us grow our online presence. /p h3Overview /h3 pBCN FinTech is a nonprofit association focused on building a strong fintech ecosystem in Barcelona. This volunteer role supports the social media effort to raise visibility, engage the community, and promote events. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport the social media team in planning, creating, and publishing content across channels (LinkedIn Instagram; open to new suggestions) /li liHelp promote fintech events and engage the online community around them /li liShare highlights, photos, and stories from events to amplify their reach /li liBrainstorm new ideas to grow visibility and test creative formats /li liCollaborate with other volunteers to spread the word about Barcelona’s fintech ecosystem /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liStrong written communication skills in English (Spanish Catalan a big plus) /li liOrganized, reliable, and a supportive team player /li liBasic graphic design skills (Canva, Figma, Adobe, or similar) to craft visuals for posts /li liAutonomous and resourceful — proactive in learning quickly, troubleshooting challenges, and rolling up your sleeves /li liCreative and curious: eager to test new ideas, content formats, and strategies /li liPassionate about social media, fintech, and digital community building /li liExcited about contributing to Barcelona’s community and giving back to the city /li liBonus: interest in gaining hands-on experience and growing your skills in social media management /li /ul h3What you’ll gain /h3 ul liHands-on experience in social media management — from content creation to community engagement /li liThe chance to grow your professional network within the fintech ecosystem /li liFree access to all BCN FinTech events, as well as partner events /li liA meaningful role in supporting Barcelona’s fintech community and helping local companies and people thrive /li liThe satisfaction of giving back as part of a mission-driven, volunteer-powered nonprofit team /li liTime commitment: ideally 5h per week (about 0.5–1h per day on weekdays). No fixed schedule, but ideally sometime between 9–18. We’re flexible as long as commitments, holidays, and schedule changes are communicated in advance. /li liThis is an unpaid volunteer role — BCN FinTech is fully nonprofit, and nobody on the team receives a salary. /li liThe role is fully remote, though you’re always welcome (but never obliged) to join our monthly events in Barcelona. /li /ul h3How to apply /h3 pJust fill out the Google Form: /p pWe’ll get back to you asap.
