We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to join our Camargo, Chihuahua team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Engineers.
  • Oversee separate teams focusing on product approbation, cost engineering, and engineering project management in view of alternative BoM changes, product reconfiguration, customization, and re-engineering to meet customer requirements.
  • Maintain a close relationship with Product Management, R&D, and quality to ensure all changes are done properly and approved.
  • Responsible for the Design FMEA after MS Commercial Release.
  • Manage the team budget and headcount plan, ensuring competency development plans are in place.
  • Accountable for the change management process in manufacturing locations and ensure Technical Project Documentation (TPD) is updated in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.

Your Qualifications

  • Broadened specialized theoretical knowledge of generic products/services and the surrounding organization to optimize relevant processes.
  • NPI and project management techniques.
  • Ability to interact with senior management and stakeholders, building a strong group of engineers.
  • Ability to drive product improvements regarding cost, quality, and failure rate.
  • Ability to manage strategies and implement projects related to material changes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in industrial NPI and project management techniques.

Position is based in Camargo, Chihuahua.
