Join a pioneering deep-tech company at the forefront of Quantum Software and Artificial Intelligence who are looking for an experienced Platform Engineering Director to lead the design, scalability, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure. This role is critical in enabling our transition to a SaaS-based model and ensuring our platforms can handle the complex computational needs of a fast-scaling engineering organization.

What You’ll Do

Lead and grow a high-performing Platform and DevOps team.
Define and execute the strategy for scalable DevOps and MLOps infrastructure.
Oversee the transition to SaaS offerings and ensure operational excellence in cloud environments.
Manage large-scale computational workloads across a 100+ engineer organization.
Collaborate closely with leadership and report directly to the CTO, providing technical vision and execution plans.
Drive automation in deployment, scaling, monitoring, and infrastructure management.

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering and/or DevOps.
2+ years leading DevOps, Platform, or Cloud Infrastructure teams in a technology-driven environment.
Deep expertise in AWS and Azure cloud environments.
Proven experience deploying SaaS solutions and managing applications on Kubernetes.
Strong background in automation tools (e.g., Terraform) for infrastructure provisioning.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to balance urgent priorities and long-term strategy.
Fluency in English (Spanish is a plus).
PhD or advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.
Experience with databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Familiarity with infrastructure to support machine learning and data analytics solutions.
