Job Purpose Role:

As a Production Manager at Allianz Direct, you will take ownership of the company’s incident management processes, ensuring smooth operations and rapid resolution of issues. In this role, you’ll act as both a coach and a guide, helping teams across the organization adhere to incident management guidelines and standards.

Also, as a Developer Service Hub member at Allianz Direct, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems. You will be an integral part of our dynamic team, contributing to developing and maintaining our technology infrastructure to support our mission of becoming the most customer-oriented and efficient insurer on the market.

Key Responsibilities:

Incident Management

• Take ownership of the incident management process across the company.
• Act as a coach to ensure teams follow incident management guidelines and meet deadlines.
• Monitor the quality of incident data, ensuring accurate metrics and actionable reporting.
• Prepare and deliver biweekly incident reports, offering insights to stakeholders.

Problem Management

• Lead the problem management process to identify, analyze, and resolve recurring issues.
• Conduct root cause analyses and implement effective corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and prevent incident recurrence.
• Drive improvements in automation for incident and problem management processes.

Developer Support

• Provide first-level support for generic tickets and SRE-related requests.
• Assist with refactoring alerts, dashboards, and runbooks, performing auxiliary tasks and onboarding support calls.
• Evaluate and escalate issues as needed for timely resolution.

Change Approvals

• Review and approve internal Intervention Decision Requests (IDRs) .
• Handle external change approvals through ServiceNow, ensuring compliance with processes and policies.

Compliance

• Offer first-level support for audits, ensuring adherence to company and regulatory standards.

Qualifications/Key skills:

• Experience:
• Minimum 3 years in IT operations, service management, or software development
• Language:
• Strong written and spoken English; skilled in communicating with non-native speakers.
• Technical Expertise:
• IT systems knowledge, software development, automation, and observability tools (monitoring, logging, alerting).
• Service Management:
• Experience in incident and problem management, including root cause analysis.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving ability, experience handling complex situations, and a collaborative mindset.
