Your Role: We are looking for a Senior Training and Quality Manager who will oversee and manage the training and quality assurance functions within an organization. This role focuses on developing, implementing, and maintaining effective training programs, quality control procedures, and performance monitoring systems. This person will lead teams, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement to enhance employee performance and ensure consistent quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs for new hires, existing employees, and specific projects. This includes creating training materials, delivering training sessions, and evaluating their effectiveness.
• Define and implement quality assurance protocols and procedures across various operational areas. This involves setting clear standards, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Supervise and mentor training and quality assurance teams, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management. This includes hiring, training, and developing team members.
• Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track training effectiveness and quality performance. Analyze data, identify trends, and provide feedback to stakeholders.
• Identify areas for improvement in training programs and quality processes. Implement corrective actions, develop action plans, and monitor their effectiveness.
• Work closely with other departments, such as operations, human resources, and product development, to align training and quality initiatives with business goals. Act as a liaison between different teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in training and quality assurance. Evaluate and incorporate new methodologies to enhance the organization's capabilities.
Essential skills and requirements:
Leadership and Management:
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, delegate tasks, and provide constructive feedback.
Training Expertise:
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training delivery techniques.
Quality Assurance Knowledge:
• Experience with quality management systems (QMS), quality control methodologies, and process improvement techniques.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
• Ability to analyze data, identify root causes of problems, and develop effective solutions.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
Technical Proficiency:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, data analysis, and learning management systems (LMS).
Experience with digital content tools is a plus.
Languages:
• Native or bilingual Spanish; business-level English.
Experience & Education:
• Bachelor’s degree with:
-3+ years in process enhancement.
-5+ years in process enhancement and project management within consumer experience, innovation, and eCommerce.
Personal Attributes:
• Analytical, customer-focused, collaborative, and a strong team player.
• Self-motivated, adaptable to change, and able to work under pressure in fast-paced, matrix environments.
Other Requirements:
• Willingness to travel as needed.
