This role is critical in accurately forecasting and analyzing costs for strongmechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems /strong across complex, large-scale projects. You will work closely with design managers, engineers, and technical consultants to ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or performance. /ppbr/ppstrongKey Responsibilities /strong /pulliPrepare strongdetailed cost estimates /strong for MEP systems and assess design changes from a strongTotal Cost of Ownership (TCO) /strong perspective. /liliAnalyze interactions between systems to determine overall cost impacts. /liliUse strongCostX /strong and other BIM-based tools for measurement and quantity take-offs. /liliMaintain and update cost databases, track pricing trends, and assist with strongvalue engineering /strong. /liliCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate cost data clearly. /liliReview drawings using strongAutoCAD /strong and strongBluebeam /strong to measure and interpret HVAC layouts (e.g., linear measurements for ductwork, textile costs). /liliUnderstand differences between strongAir-to-Air /strong and strongAir-to-Water systems /strong and their cost implications. /liliInterpret and price strongfirefighting systems /strong, plumbing, and other MEP components. /li /ulpbr/ppstrongRequired Skills Qualifications /strong /pulliBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field. /liliStrong understanding of strongMEP systems /strong and ability to visualize and interpret technical drawings. /liliProficiency in strongCostX /strong, strongAutoCAD /strong, and strongBluebeam /strong. /liliExcellent analytical skills and attention to detail. /liliAbility to assess design changes and their financial impact. /liliKnowledge of construction practices, building codes, and safety regulations. /li /ulpbr/ppstrongPreferred Qualifications /strong /pulliExperience with large-scale or multi-phase projects. /liliFamiliarity with sustainability and green building cost considerations. /liliBackground in value engineering or cost optimization. /li /ul
