An established catering company in the Orange City, IA area is hiring cooks, prep cooks, grille cooks, and weekend cooks to join their growing team. As a cook, you will work collaboratively to create the best food possible using authentic recipes. You will be a valued member of the dining services team, assisting with all aspects of the dining services program as needed. If you are enthusiastic about cooking and serving people, then this is the job for you! Responsibilities: Time food production to ensure all food is ready at the time of service. Prepare food items according to established recipes and menus to preserve freshness, quality, and appeal. Utilize batch cooking techniques to avoid overproduction or underproduction. Maintain a safe, tidy, and well-organized work environment at all times. Support other kitchen employees to ensure essential kitchen functions are performed adequately. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years cooking experience preferred. High School diploma or equivalent preferred. ServSafe Certification preferred. Benefits Pay: $14-$17 / hr. DOE Paid every Friday.
