Configuration & Documentation Management Officer at Deimos Reporting to the Project Managers (PM) & Product Assurance Manager (PA) in Deimos, you will join as a member of systems engineering team, and part of a wider configuration management (CM) organisation distributed across different departments and geographical locations. Main Duties: The post-holder will co-ordinate the following activities: Support to project office and PA areas to establish and coordinate CDM policy, procedures and tools. Develop, implement and maintain the CDM documentation in the projects. Define and maintain the configuration baseline of projects throughout their lifecycle. Support in definition & identification of the configuration items. Support the PM in the Configuration Control Board (CCB). Support engineering change control process. Establishment and distribution of configuration status reports. Support the PA managers to perform Configuration Audits and issue Configuration Status Accounting Reports Maintain control of project files and data releases, documents, models and drawings. Keep the documentation database up to date. Education: University degree, preferably engineering disciplines (aerospace, industrial, ...) but others will not be discarded if experience in industrial CDM is provided Professional Experience: 3+ years of experience as Configuration and Documentation Management Officer Technical Requirements: Knowledge of configuration management processes and standards Working knowledge of Product Data and Product Lifecycle Management (PDM/PLM) tools Experience with processing documentation through configuration systems and through a lifecycle Programming knowledge (VBA, Java, C++, HTLM, XML, …) Proficient IT skills across the MS Office (Word, Excel, Access….) Experience within Aerospace or Defence manufacturing industry desirable. Language Skills: Fluent in English and Spanish (English is the sole projects documentation language) Personal Skills: Ability to understand and synthesise complex programmatic information. Good communication and organisational skills. Positive attitude, responsibility, flexibility and independence.
