Adalvo seeks a meticulous and business-focused Legal Manager to provide comprehensive legal support across Adalvo’s organization. Together with a team of committed colleagues, the Legal Manager will have an active role within the Legal Department, supporting a range of on-going projects in collaboration with key departments such as Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, Corporate Development, Alliance Management and Scientific Affairs. The Legal Manager position is an in-house legal counsel role incorporated in the Legal Department, reporting to the Senior Legal Manager. On a daily basis, the Legal Manager will: # Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to support Adalvo’s business operations; # Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including but not limited to licensing agreements, development agreements, manufacturing and supply agreements and distribution agreements; # Contribute to building and designing best legal processes and practices for the Legal Department that streamline operations and improve overall legal functions; # Provide timely recommendations to mitigate potential legal exposure; # Proactively identify potential legal risks and assist in implementing strategies to minimize those risks; # Regularly communicate with and provide input to the Senior Legal Manager regarding legal issues and developments affecting Adalvo. Excellent level of English, both written and spoken; ~3 to 7 years of legal experience preferably within an in-house Legal department at a pharmaceutical company or, at a top law firm with a focus on life sciences; ~ Proven track record in managing commercial agreements, such as licensing agreements, development agreements, manufacturing and supply agreements and distribution agreements; ~ Business-focused, with the ability to understand and align legal strategies with broader business objectives; ~ A dedicated and high-integrity professional who operates with the utmost ethical standards in handling sensitive legal matters.
