We are looking for a Commodity Manager for Transportation and Preassembly Ports within the BU to support Sales & Execution in winning customer bids and executing successful Offshore wind projects. You will be supporting Global order entry via early involvement in preparation of our sourcing activities based on customer requirements at the most beneficial conditions whilst ensuring quality and on-time delivery. As part of the role, you will also: How to contribute to our vision We are looking for a Commodity Manager Vessels&Aviation within the Offshore BU to support Sales & Project Management winning customer bids and execute Offshore projects successfully. In this role you will support the Global Order Entry via early involvement, in preparation of our sourcing activities based on customer requirements at the most beneficial conditions whilst ensuring quality and on-time delivery. The Vessels&Aviation Commodity includes: Installation Vessel Walk-2-Work (CSOV) Vessel & Crew Transfer Vessel (main focus areas for this position) Aviation (Helicopter for Crew transfers) The role includes, but is not limited to, below services and scopes: In this role as Commodity Manager, you will have functional responsibility for the Offshore Services procurement scope for execution projects, driving competitive project specific tenders in line with Procurement guidelines, ensure harmonization of sourcing approaches with the respective global commodity strategy and actively manage project related sourcing demands end-to-end You will be a part of a small team solving the future logistical challenges connected to Construction related to the next generation of wind turbines You provide support towards Sales team for price calculations for the Commodity You will primarily collaborate with our main stakeholder & (technical)counterpart in Marine Operations on a daily basis, taking a holistic view over total cost-based decisions and taking into account cross functional needs, next to savings, lead times and operational contractors performance Ensure solid collaboration with project related stakeholders and relevant procurement functions, bridging the global commodity and local hub Procurement You will contribute to the monthly Procurement KPI and reporting activities What you need to make a difference Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for: You have minimum 3-5 years of experience within Procurement of services, preferably in a project procurement environment, with main focus in fields such as offshore services, logistics and chartering You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / Finance / Economic Engineering / Supply Chain/ Transport/ Logistics or similar You are a self-starter, good in managing your workload and in prioritizing your work You are comfortable working in a matrix organization and it is expected you proactively build your network within the organization You are able to communicate at and comfortable presenting to all levels within the organization You have good knowledge in the area of contract law, have professional experience with Procurement Contracts for goods and services and possess strong negotiating skills, especially in international business relationships You are an advanced user in PowerPoint and Excel (MS Office); knowledge of Ariba would be an advantage You are fluent in English It is a big advantage if you thrive in a multi-cultural environment and are familiar with working in large and remote organizations. You will be working with colleagues in multiple locations outside of Taiwan, including your direct reporting line to the Global Commodity Manager who is located in the EU.
