About the Role

We are looking for a Brand Manager – Spain to lead the development and implementation of Changan’s brand and marketing strategy across the Spanish market. This is a high-impact role requiring a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on local execution. You will collaborate closely with our European headquarter, local retail partners, and external agencies to build strong brand awareness and engagement in Spain, ensuring that all activities reflect both our European vision and local consumer behavior.

Key Responsibilities

Market Leadership:

Drive Changan’s brand visibility and desirability across Spain. Design and execute marketing campaigns tailored to Spanish consumer preferences while remaining aligned with central brand guidelines.

Strategic Alignment:

Ensure full consistency with Changan Europe’s brand strategy, including tone of voice, messaging hierarchy, and campaign rollouts, while adapting to the Spanish cultural and market context.

Website & Digital Presence:

Manage Changan Spain’s website and digital ecosystem, ensuring it is locally relevant, up to date, and user-friendly. Work with the central digital team to maintain alignment and optimize user experience.

Agency Management:

Select and manage local creative, digital, and media agencies to support campaign development and execution. Ensure high-quality and consistent brand representation across all communication channels.

Retail Network Support:

Collaborate with local dealers and retail partners on in-store brand expression, event activation, and local marketing initiatives. Align launch campaigns and drive foot traffic through targeted activities.

Content Localization:

Adapt centrally produced assets to suit the Spanish market across digital, social, PR, events, and CRM channels, ensuring compliance with local regulations and cultural nuances.

Performance Tracking:

Define and monitor KPIs related to brand awareness, campaign effectiveness, website engagement, and media ROI. Provide regular reports and actionable insights to improve outcomes.

Budget Management:

Own the Spain marketing budget. Plan and allocate spending effectively, ensuring maximum ROI and full transparency. Continuously optimize based on campaign data and benchmarks.

Cross-functional Coordination:

Work closely with product, PR, retail, and digital teams across Europe to ensure alignment and execution excellence for new launches and brand moments.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, brand, or digital roles, ideally in the automotive, tech, or lifestyle industries
  • Strong knowledge of the Spanish market and consumer landscape
  • Proven ability to lead local brand execution and adapt global strategies to local needs
  • Experience managing marketing budgets, agencies, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Familiarity with digital and performance marketing tools and KPIs
  • Native Spanish speaker with fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and collaborative mindset
  • Analytical and results-driven approach to marketing decision-making
