Are you ready to lead a major transformation project within the finance function of a global industrial group? At Hays, we are seeking a Head of Accounting for a unique opportunity to combine project leadership with operational management in a dynamic international environment. br br brSet up accounting operations in Bilbao for multiple European entities. brOversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring high-quality financial reporting under IFRS and local GAAP. brYou will report to the Finance Director and work closely with senior stakeholders across multiple countries. br br brLead the migration of accounting activities and build a high-performing team. brManage all accounting operations: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, fixed assets, bank accounts. brDeliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under IFRS and local GAAP. brEnsure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. brQualified accountant equivalent or in France DESCF/DEC brProven experience in accounting operations transfer or Shared Service Center setup . brStrong background in statutory reporting under IFRS and local GAAP (French GAAP is a must). brPrevious leadership experience managing accounting teams. brProficiency in SAP and advanced Excel; Fluent in English and French (written and spoken). br br brBe part of a global organization driving innovation and transformation. brLead a high-impact project with visibility across the group. brApply now and take the lead in shaping the future of finance operations.
