Job propose: To assist in development of environmental processes and reporting within Blades function and train plant teams in environmental requirements To audit process implementation and reporting To advise on environmental aspects in new product development To work on Health & Safety and Environmental plans with Blades suppliers to ensure they fulfil Nordex HSE policy (e.g. documentation review, on site audit, etc.) Functions: Being focal point for shared Environmental activities across all Nordex Blades plants Creating and updating specific HSE documents and follow-up the implementation Handling the different projects within Blades unit for the definition, transformation, standardization and optimization of Environmental and Sustainability requirements and strategies Leading the data collection methods in Blades regarding Environmental and Sustainability parameters Assessing and approve Hazardous Materials and leading plan to eliminate products from HazMats Black list Maintaining Environmental Management System HSE Country Support Supporting Blades HSE local teams in the implementation of Environmental and Sustainability requirements and activities Follow-up of implementation of Environmental and Sustainability activities in each Nordex Blades plant Being HSE focal point of contact for several international third parties (Blades suppliers) and participating in meetings to discuss progressions and issues related to HSE Supporting international Blades third parties in the HSE-relevant topics for the manufacturing of Nordex Blades (e.g. safety of machinery, HSE agreement) Supervising, controlling and auditing international third parties to ensure they comply with local HSE requirements and Nordex HSE policy Profile: University degree (Engineering or similar technical degree) Master’s or postgraduate studies in Health, Safety and Environmental High English Level Desirable at least 3 years of experience in the role of Health, Safety and Environment specialist preferably in an industrial plant. Experienced in using business system and competence in excel/powerpoint/sharepoint Willingness to travel Nordex adheres to a policy of equal employment opportunity.
