Reporting directly to the Senior Procurement Manager, the Associate Indirect Procurement Manager Europe (Fleet Category) is responsible for delivering business results, implementing global strategies, ensuring continuity of supply and minimizing total cost of ownership, all of which are required to meet the business needs. As an Associate Indirect Procurement Manager Europe specializing in the Fleet category, you will be responsible for leading and managing the procurement activities related to light fleet vehicles and other specialized mobilities services, across the European region. In this role, you will develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts with suppliers, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize fleet procurement operations while ensuring cost-effectiveness, compliance, and quality. The main responsibilities include: Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for the fleet category, aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and assess market trends and pricing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop category strategies that drive operational efficiency and cost savings. Identify and evaluate potential risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure supply continuity. Supplier Management and Negotiations: Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, conducting supplier evaluations, and managing supplier performance through regular reviews. Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, including pricing, service levels, warranties, and contractual agreements. Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, standardization, and process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. Contract Management: Develop and administer contracts for fleet procurement, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with legal and contract management teams to draft, review, and negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and other procurement-related documents. Monitor contract performance, resolve any disputes or issues, and implement contract renewals or terminations as required. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR, SHE, Finance, and Fleet management teams, to understand their requirements and align procurement strategies with business needs. Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on procurement processes, policies, and best practices. Develop and maintain effective communication channels to ensure stakeholders are informed about procurement activities, changes, and supplier performance. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and operational efficiencies within the fleet procurement function. Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and leverage new opportunities. Your Profile: The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, specifically within the fleet category. In-depth knowledge of fleet procurement processes, industry trends, and best practices. Develop collaborative cross-functional relationships to meet internal business needs Learn and apply the TDC sourcing process Coaching and mentoring skills Experience in leading multi-cultural teams in a Centre of Excellence Higher education in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial/Automation) and/or Business Industrial manufacturing and/or equipment related experience preferable Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently Successful experience negotiating with large multinational suppliers Ability to adjust to changing variables in the workplace Ability to maintain composure and deliver results under pressure Ability to generate innovative ideas and original solutions Ability to operate proactively, anticipating possible problems, opportunities, and challenges Excellent communication & presentation skills Strong analytical skills including the ability to distil, synthesize, and draw conclusions from large data sets Fluency in written and spoken English. #li-eu Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion At Ecolab, we believe the best teams are diverse and inclusive, and we are on a journey to create a workplace where every associate can grow and achieve their best.
