This role involves preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing general ledger activities, and supporting audits. The Senior Accountant collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, streamline processes, and drive strategic decision-making. Additionally, the role ensures adherence to internal controls, tax regulations, and company policies while mentoring junior staff to foster a high-performing accounting teamParticipate to the monthly closings, process, making sure it’s agile, timely and reliablePrepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and analyze variancesBe responsible for Inter-company balances and reconciliationOptimizes the accounting process automation via ERP and support financial reporting with data-science orientationPrepare Tax returns and ensuring timely payments.Supports yearly external audits for Recover’s legal entitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide financial insights and support.5-10 years’ experience in accountingBachelor’s degree in Business / accounting / administration / FinanceDeep knowledge of PGC - Spanish accounting standards.Expertise with Microsoft Excel.Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365FO is a plus.Fluent in English (written and spoken). The Accounting Department is responsible for overseeing the financial health and compliance of the organization.
