Forvis Mazars Group SC is an independent member of Forvis Mazars Global, a leading global professional services network. Operating as an internationally integrated partnership in over 100 countries and territories, we specialise in audit, tax and advisory services. As part of Forvis Mazars ’ strategic move to create a centralized service to serve clients across Europe, we have created Global Compliance & Reporting service with teams, processes and technology that allows multinational groups to meet all its accounting, tax, payroll and legal obligations and commitments, both locally and internationally while having accurate information centralized and delivered from our Center of Excellence (CoE). We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team at Forvis Mazars. This role is part of a strategic internal transformation and stabilization initiative, bringing key accounting activities in-house and strengthening our finance operating model. The position reports to the Director, and will contribute to leadership discussions by providing operational and financial inputs. Your mission Own and manage internal accounting activities end-to-end (suppliers/AP, payments, bank management, fixed assets, provisions and prepayments, invoicing/AR, aging). Support the transition and stabilization of the accounting model in-house, ensuring continuity, quality, and clear controls. Contribute to the setup and optimisation of the ERP (NetSuite) and related processes, including analytical accounting. Drive automation, standardisation, and continuous improvement to increase efficiency and reliability. Prepare internal reporting, analytical accounting, and treasury forecasts, ensuring timely reporting to Group. Ensure compliance with internal policies and reporting deadlines. Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, IT and other internal departments. Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a high-performance environment. Your profile ~ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. ~5+ years of experience in accounting (internal/corporate environment preferred). ~ Strong knowledge of accounting principles and month-end closing processes. ~ Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERPs ( NetSuite preferred ; SAP or similar is also relevant). ~ Fluent English (B2+); additional languages are a plus. ~ Strong analytical skills and ability to meet strict reporting deadlines. ~ Structured, proactive, and improvement-oriented mindset; comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.
