What’s the Job?

As an Accounts Payable Coordinator, you’ll support the daily operations of the Finance Department at InterContinental Barcelona. Your main focus will be on managing and processing hotel payments, invoices and documentation, while also assisting the department head with various administrative and accounting tasks.

Your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Managing and processing supplier invoices and payments for Hotel Fira and other Group entities
  • Overseeing scheduled and ad-hoc payments to vendors and service providers, ensuring accuracy and timely execution
  • Coordinating with Purchasing, F&B and other departments to ensure invoice accuracy
  • Preparing monthly expense reports and supporting budget control
  • Assisting with documentation for public grants and legal requirements
  • Providing general support to the Finance Department as needed
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and tax requirements.

What We Need From You

  • Studies in Business Administration, Finance or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within finance or accounting departments in hospitality
  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central and SAP is highly valued
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive attitude, willing to learn and grow in a team
  • Fluency in Spanish and a good level of English.
