Role Purpose

The accountant position for Spain is responsible for the all the accounting operations of the company as well as reporting.

Primary Responsibilities

• Accounts payable - invoices and contracts management
• Accounts receivable
• Document based transactions processing to ERP
• Daily proceeds from customers reconciliations
• Daily banks reconciliations
• Monthly accounts reconciliations and closing (Payables, receivables, loans, fixed assets, other)
• Support in tax models preparations
• Support audit and management requests
• ICP movements

Knowledge and Skills

Knowledge/Abilities:

• Accounting, finance and tax Knowledge
• General Math Skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team member with good interpersonal skills.

Skills:

• High attention to details and reconciliation ability
• Respect strict Deadlines and good in Time Management
• Analytical skills
• Proactivity, orientation to result
• Full designated area responsibility
• Good learning capabilities

Preferred qualifications & experience

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance required.

Experience target:

• 1-3 years of experience in accounting (Spanish PGC)
• Notions about taxes
• Good knowledge of excel experience with any ERP (Oracle-Netsuite, etc)
• English Intermediate
