You will support the Spanish accounting team, especially during closing periods and work closely with the local finance team in Barcelona. You maintain continuous collaboration with the external accounting company in Portugal to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting. /ppYou are responsible for bridging internal accounting with official Portuguese accounting, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and timely follow-up. /ppbr/ppstronguYour key responsibilities: /u /strong /pulliAccurately record daily accounting transactions for the Portuguese entity. /liliMaintain up-to-date internal accounting, including invoice registration, bank reconciliations, supplier payments, payroll postings, and G/L postings. /liliClosely collaborate with the external Portuguese accountant to ensure correct booking in official accounts. /liliPerform internal balance reconciliations and identify monthly discrepancies between internal and official Portuguese accounting. /liliExecute month-end closing activities such as accruals, depreciation, and balance reconciliation. /liliFollow up on outstanding customer payments and payment-related inquiries. /liliShare invoices and relevant financial information daily with the Portuguese accountant. /liliProvide accounting support for Spanish entities. /liliPrepare financial and payroll-related reports for management upon request. /li /ul pstronguWhat we ask of you: /u /strong /ppstrongMust-haves: /strong /pulliBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. /liliSolid understanding of accounting principles and payroll processes. /liliFluent Spanish (mandatory) and business-level English (minimum B2). /liliExperience working with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, or similar. /liliStrong Excel skills for reconciliations, reporting, and financial analysis. /liliAbility to work on-site in our Barcelona office (full-time initially). /li /ulpstrongNice-to-haves: /strong /pulliPortuguese language skills. /liliKnowledge of Portuguese payroll legislation and regulations. /liliExperience working with external accountants or social secretariats. /liliPrevious exposure to international or multi-entity accounting environments. /li /ulpYou are versatile, structured, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
