What we expect from our new colleague: Willing to provide support to the Accounting/Finance Department. Basic knowledge of PGC (Plan General Contable) or another European GAAP Invoicing and bookkeeping Cash flow management Bank reconciliationsPerforming basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing the mail, etc. Handling communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person. Processing transactions, issuing checks, and updating ledgers, budgets, etc. Preparing financial reports. Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies. Assume the responsibility of receiving and sorting incoming payments with attention to credibility. Most of the time you work from home or in our office in Barcelona. The wish list for an Accountancy Assistant Accounting degree and/or work experience related to Finance and/or Accounting. More education, experience, or additional certifications and licenses. I.T. skills (Word & PowerPoint) with Excel (basic formulas, pivots tables, “if” statements and lookups). ERP and CRM knowledge (Dynamics 365 Business Central knowledge is a plus) Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with basic accounting principles. Professional manner and a strong ethical code. Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive. Commitment to working efficiently and accurately. Team player Strong sense of responsibility You can follow a schedule and meet deadlines . Excellent command of Spanish and English (French is a plus) You are a European citizen or have a valid long-term European work and stay permit.
